 Uniter Extends Technical Support To Europe

Uniter Group Ltd has announced that it can now provide full onsite support for IT, printing and EPOS devices across the UK and Europe. This will enable organisations to negotiate single, standard maintenance contacts to cover all office locations on a pan European basis to unify service levels, centralise billing and management as well as delivering reduced costs.

Key to the delivery of this extended service is a multi-lingual technical contact centre that provides 24/7 support to customers operating in different time zones. It is staffed by technical specialists that, using extensive knowledge databases, deliver high levels of remote assistance with the ability to resolve more than 80% of all problems during the initial call. This is supported by an onsite engineering support service using strategically located engineers equipped with the latest mobile communications devices and security vetted to meet the requirements of secure and sensitive government locations.

According to Uniter Group Director Jason Williams: “This service has been introduced in response to requests from UK-based customers that operate other facilities throughout Europe. It is being delivered in conjunction with key strategic partners that share our commitment to delivering high levels of specialised technical support. We have already won a number of key European contracts in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Holland. Further successes will be announced over the coming months.”

Uniter Group’s technical contact centre also provides a comprehensive range of remote infrastructure management services to keep IT networks, appliances and peripherals operating at maximum efficiency. Services include proactive monitoring of the critical health status of devices and line of business applications enabling potential problems to be diagnosed and prevented before they occur.
